It was a great show at Parmatown Mall for the Western Reserve Rose Society and Forest City Rose Society. We had over 200 entries. Please see the Show page for pictures and results. Thanks to Lori Hilfer and Anita Solarz for co-chairing a very successful event.

Western Reserve Rose Society Meeting Wednesday May 29 at 7 pm

Drs. Gary Rankin and Monica Valentovic will be with us to show us some of the “Tools of the Trade”.

The Meeting is at North Royalton Public Library on State Road. It starts at 7 pm. Refreshments served. All are welcome.

Hi All,

Don’t forget it is time for the April meeting of the Western Reserve Rose Society on Monday, April 22 at 7:00 pm at the North Royalton Library at 14600 State Road just south of Route 82. Our program will be presented by Cleveland Rose Society and Western Reserve Rose Society member, Corky Thacker. Corky will present a program on “Transform Your Landscape with Roses”. See how roses can be incorporated in your yard to beautify it. After refreshments, there will be a question and answer session of what we should be doing in our rose gardens now for spring. Please save the date on your calendar and feel free to bring a friend. The forsythia bush is NOW blooming in my neighborhood in North Royalton, so time to get out my pruners but will wait till it is a tad warmer than 45 degrees.

A wonderful presentation by Bill and Anita Solarz on “Roses 101…The Basics”. Informative as always. Great way to get the 2013 Rose Season off to a fine start.

Our next meeting is March 25 at 7pm with Dr. James Hering presenting Whit Wells Mini flora Roses. We are always glad to have Dr. Hering join us. Presentation is free and refreshments will be served.
